Through a series of conferences, 5 representatives from the private sector shared their stories and successful initiatives, while 4 other high-level national and European officials explained the importance of regions and cities in terms of strengthening growth across Europe.
To mark the end of the session, our Young Regional Ambassadors from Kujawsko-Pomorskie (PL), Zilinský (SK) and Thessalia (EL) were able to interview the European Commissioner for Regional Policy, Ms Corina Crețu and ask her several questions linked to EU policy and its impacts on regional growth!
As Pascal Goergen, FEDRA’s Secretary General said: “no blabla as we say in French, but a concrete and practical approach”!
Last but not least, the Regional Chocolate showed that European culinary innovation was clearly not lagging behind. We would like to thank once again the chocolatiers who participated in this Award and made enough pralines for everyone. After the taste came the award: congratulations to our Swiss candidate, Mr David Pasquiet, owner of L’Instant Chocolat in the Valais Canton on winning the prize!
