On the 12th and 13th of October 2016, in Bratislava, Slovakia, the CIDIC’s Diplomatic, Economic and Academic (DEA) Days will occur. 

Once again this year, the folkloristic Notte della Taranta (The Night of The Tarantula) Festival took place in the historical region of Salento, in Apulia (Italy). The music festival lasted for approximately nineteen days, ending on August 27 with the usual big concert of the village of Melpignano.

 

On the 28th of August 2016, the magnificent “Varia” took place in Palmi – Calabria (IT).

The "Varia” is an ancient and complex processional structure (height: 16 metres; weight: 20 tons), bearing various religious and anthropological meanings, which represents the Universe and the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. 

A new international research center will be born in the Azores region. After the United States of America intentions to leave the military base located in Terceira Island, the reconversion of its infrastructure could lead to a state of the art research center.

 

FEDRA together with its community of Young Regional Ambassadors launched “Discover my region”, a project focused on shedding light on growth initiatives in different European regions.
