FEDRA’s Regional Growth Session at the European Business Summit (EBS) on 1 June 2016 will gather between 150 and 200 stakeholders from 80 to 100 different regions, and FEDRA decided to use the opportunity to promote regional chocolate producers across Europe.
On the 23rd of February, FEDRA’s delegation comprised of Pascal Goergen, Secretary General, Frédéric Soudain, Senior advisor, and Katarzyna Borowska, FEDRA’s Young Regional Ambassador in Kujawsko-Pomorskie, met Markku Markkula, President of the Committee of the Regions to present FEDRA’s Young Regional Ambassadors Initiative.
FEDRA's kick-off event of the Regional Flavours Initiative was a success as 120 people came to the Sofitel Europe, FEDRA's partner in this adventure, to taste the regional food and drink specialties from Pescara (IT), Algarve (PT) and Languedoc-Roussillon (FR) thanks to Vini & Sapori, Monte do Além and BiBoViNo, our food and wine providers!
On the 3rd February 2015, FEDRA’s Secretary General, Pascal Goergen met with Mario Duragic, Head of the of the Republika Srpska representation office. It was the opportunity for the Federation to officially welcome its new member and keep Mario Duragic up-to-date with the latest projects of FEDRA.
One year after its official launch, FEDRA will return to the European Business Summit to co-organise the Growth Regional Session of the event.

Another mission after a first success!
On the 10th-12th May 2016, the European Center for Economic Diplomacy (CIDIC) will organise a Diplomatic, Economic & Academic mission to the Netherlands, current president of the EU Council of Ministers. FEDRA will provide the regional dimension of this initiative and support the creation of further bonds between regional actors and Dutch's enterprises and universities.
Last 11th – 13th November 2015, Pascal Goergen, FEDRA’s Secretary General, was invited to participate as a keynote speaker to the 29th Annual Businet Conference 2015.
On the 25-26 November 2015, CIDIC, the Cercle International Diplomatique et Consulaire, organised a successful Diplomatic, Economic and Academic mission in Luxembourg, holder of the EU presidency for the last semester of 2015. As CIDIC’s partner, FEDRA represented the regional aspect of this DEA mission.
Therefore, Pascal Goergen, FEDRA’s Secretary General, and Fredéric Soudain, FEDRA’s Senior Advisor, came along with the mission to create further bonds with the European Union Presidency representatives and regional actor representatives from Luxembourg.
For the 15th edition of this Summit, FEDRA & EBS are officially teaming up to design and organise the EBS Regional Session 2016. Our ambition is to identify and support entrepreneur initiatives in EU regions as well as designing new initiatives which will increase growth in EU regions. Through its diverse initiatives, FEDRA wants to bridge the gap between regional actors and European leaders. Reaching the regional press and promoting its projects in regions and in Europe are also one of the ways for FEDRA to promote the regions' assets.
